Almost none of the available role play clubs through schools, local libraries, online classes, or online clubs are for therapeutic purposes. With so many people playing role play games in so many locations knowing the basics of how to play means that you can move to a new town, go to a new school, or even start your adult life in a new part of the country and have a fun way to join an activity where you can make new friends locally!
Most recreational games can run for four to six hours; which means that with a weekly game you can spend up to 24 hours with your favorite group of people per month. Even with a busy lifestyle, these common adventure experiences and hours spent connecting means that friendships are born and thrive.
Some role play games run for a single gathering, some run with the same people for many decades. Lifelong friendships are often developed through gaming.
